So here's my dilemma;

22 years ago, I had a severe MH reaction prior to knee surgery. Thanks to the quick action of an anasthesiologist, my life was spared after being in a coma for four days and spending an additional week in ICU.

So, eventually I would have post traumatic stress due to the event. This would cause me to have severe anxiety in regards to travel, camping, etc.

I know that even with MH, I should be able to live a normal life. Could someone please give me some truth to reinforce this to enable me to live again. I am seeing counselling re the anxiety, however I need truth with the MH to face it and the past.
