Has anyone out there with a MH diagnosed child (age 7) heard of methodone being used during surgery? I believe it to be a cause of severe post-operative intestinal spasms/diarrhea and vomiting for my child that lasted 3 days. He was also given Versed, dexamethasone, robinul, regal (sic), nitrous oxide, lidocaine, and proposol. I know most of those drugs are ok for MH kids, but I was wondering about the methodone. Anybody have any similar side effects with their MH diagnosed child post-operatively? A response by an MH expert would be welcome as well. Thanks for your time. Kim
