This is a sample letter that an MH-susceptible individual could send to his/her local hospital(s). Its purpose is two-fold: 1) to advise the hospital(s) there is an MH-susceptible individual/family in the area; and 2) to determine whether the hospital is adequately prepared to treat MH. The wording can be adapted to fit individual circumstances. It is recommended that the following pamphlets be enclosed with the letter:

This letter can be addressed to the hospital's chief of anesthesiology or to the hospital administrator.
SAMPLE LETTER TO FAMILY MEMBERS REGARDING SUSCEPTIBILITY TO MH
